Ants
Ants are the main units in the game, under player indirect control. Each ant performs its own task in the Anthill. Some ants are controlled through special commands (for example, sending warriors on a raid). The anthill is a home for ants, which they bravely protect from strangers. The Queen is a unique ant who gives birth to new ants and does not leave the anthill. The death of the Queen and/or builders means death for the entire anthill and ends the game. In a colony, ants are divided into castes.
Castes
The Caste of a card shows the main activity of the ant in anthill. Castes are an important card element in Deck-building. To successfully save your build you need to have 5 main castes in your deck. Some Perks only apply to ants with certain castes.
At the moment the following castes are presented in the game:

Stats
Ants, like other mobs, have stats. Unlike characteristics, which indicate the behavior and interaction of an ant with the environment, stats directly affect the effectiveness of the ant.
Stats can be changed due to improvements in the Workshop, due to the rarity of cards or with the help of Perks.
Moreover, the effect on stats occurs in exactly this order. Improvements from the workshop are added to the base stats of the ant, after which the rarity bonus is applied, and only then comes the influence of Perks.
Let's look at an example with a epic Builder, upgraded to level 2 and the Carrying Capacity perk:
- 1. The initial speed of the builder is 6.
- 2. After upgrading a builder in a Workshop to level 2, the speed becomes 7.
- 3. Rarity bonus of 20% now applies. Rounding occurs up starting from 0.1. 7 + 20% = 8.4, after rounding we get 9.
- 4. And finally, the perk makes the speed equal to 5.
All stats with their descriptions will be presented below.
- Health - determines how much damage an ant can take before it dies.
- Damage - determines how many units of damage the ant deals in battle.
- Speed - determines how fast the ant moves.
- Distance - determines how far an ant can move from an Anthill.
- Strength - determines how much Food an ant can carry at one time.
- Vision - determines at what distance the ant sees objects and creatures around.
- Price - determines how much Food must be fed to the Queen to create an ant.
- Crit Chance - determines the chance with which the ant will be able to inflict additional damage to enemy.
- Extra Deck Slots - determines the number of additional cards a player can add to the Deck.
- Hatching Time - The amount of time required for an Egg to hatch. Depends on the Ant's Caste.
- Hatching Speed - Unique stat available only for the Queen. It is a coefficient of hatching speed; the higher it is, the less time it will take for the Egg to hatch.
- Building Damage - The damage a mob causes when attacking resources
- Attack Type - There are different types of damage in the game:
- Directed - damage is dealt to one mob
- Directed Splash - deals damage in a small radius in the direction of impact
- Splash - deals damage to all mobs around
- Attack Speed - Indicates the time required to start a new attack after casual attack
- Crit Attack Type - The same as Attack type, but for Crit Attacks
- Crit Damage - Attack damage when critical hit is triggered
- Crit Attack Speed - Indicates the time required to start a new attack after crit attack
